Quash was my main project as a 4th year student in Master's degree. We're a 8 students and 1 external sound designer. Quash is a VR arcade racket game.
➭ Owner of the original vision of the game.
➭ Overall polishing of the Game Design.
➭ Designed flowcharts and prototyped the whole User Interface and the HUD.
➭ Managed the pre-production.
➭ Organized playtest sessions.
➭ Managed the community discord, and the official Twitter account.
Lead Game Designer
At first I came up with this idea of making a VR game that combines squash mechanics and brick breaker mechanics working alone and then with 2 other game designers we developed the idea in more detail.
In the production, I was in charge of the whole User Interface / HUD in Virtual Reality which was a real challenge for me because it was the first time I was working on a VR project. I was also making sure my vision of the project was respected through the game design and the systems as a lead game designer and vision owner.
